With Autumn coming its time to change your bright colour summer nails to something more subtle. This autumn my colours are about Forest Green, Oxblood, Mustard, and Navy, anything that oozes warmth. With that in mind, what better way to tone down your nails with a Matte Nail Polish.
Definitions of Matte: Flat, Dull without a shine - but that doesn't matte:r when your outfit is bursting with colour, you don't want your nails to detract from it all.
I'm currently craving the Avon Matte - Grey Cement nail polish.
It's a colour that can suit long or short nails, but I would suggest you practise a few time before showing them to the public. Matte Nail Polish shows each stroke of the brush. The bonus factor of Matte is that it dry's super fast, within seconds... and no need for a top coat!
If you can't get your hands on the Avon Polish, lots of others are bringing their own version of the polish. Check out Barry M, Rimmel.
Take the Matte Nail Polish one step at a time. It does take a while to get use to as the shine has disappeared from the tip of your fingers but don't let this phase you. Be brave, be different.
Be Matte Happy, I am.
