Embracing Flares

Ever since my last fashion blog entry I have been on the hunt for a pair of black flares. Its been a hard hunt! I've seen lots of denim flare jeans and I think you have to be brave to wear denim flares as it is a bold statement to be making. If you are not ready for the denim flare then a black flare is the perfect baby step.

After looking high and low I finally came across the perfect (only) black flare. I'm not normally one to shop in NEXT but I think this weekends shopping trip may have changed my mind. They have a great PETITE section and most of the trousers come in Long, Regular and Short leg. I would be nervous buying off line though. I'm normally a size 8/10 depending how well the diets been that week but I ended up getting a size 6R. I would of liked a Short leg but these come in Regular or Long leg. This means I have had to take the jeans up like most of my trousers. Maybe I should do a blog post about how to take trousers up yourself as I seem to be doing it a lot! The material is a stretch fabric so perfect for the larger/thicker thigh. If I had brought a suit trouser flare then the material would have been to tight on my thighs and massive round the waist.

Don't be nervous about embracing the flare, it elongates your leg making them look slimmer. I don't no why you wouldn't want to.

Alexis Smith Lingerie

People say that the best things come in small packages and being only 5ft2 I would agree with this comment. For a girl, the best small package you could receive apart from a diamond ring would be luxurious lingerie, guys take note.

Alexis Smith is an online lingerie company specialising in larger cup sizes for smaller framed women. I am defiantly someone under this category with 32Ds  as I have always struggled to find attractive bra sets and now La Senza doesn’t exist, where is a girl meant to go! Alexis Smith are the new saving grace with luxurious lingerie sets. You can buy sets or separates individually.

I was lucky enough to be sent the Luxury Jade Satin Knickers. These gorgeous satin knickers are soft to the skin with a low rise front. They are the perfect bedroom knicker.

If you are looking for comfortable but sexy every day lingerie or something flirty to keep your partners pulses raising Alexis Smith is a company to have a look at.

Since joining The Bloggers Hub I have been given some great opportunities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them.

Edge o' Beyond

I want to introduce you to Edge o' Beyond. I met them last week at The Bloggers Hub Fashion event. Edge o' beyond is a new, contemporary British brand that distinctively merges jewellery with luxury lingerie that is made in the UK.

Photos from Edge o' Beyond look book

Each set is delicate with 14K gold plated jewellery details. All the garments are designed and handmade in the UK. They believe it is important to support the UK's diminishing specialist lingerie-manufacturing sector. Bras sizes start from a petite 30B through to a 34E and 36DD.

Guys if you have a partner with a birthday coming up or ladies you just want to feel sexy in gorgeous lingerie then I would defiantly advice Edge o' Beyond. I'm going to be making a few big hints to my boyfriend. I may of just left the lookbook on the kitchen side with a few folded pages. Who said Christmas can't come early..

Bronzed Beautys with Linzi Shoes

Trainers have been the new daytime shoe for sometime now but buying from Nike, New Balance, Adidas etc can be expensive, so I was over the moon when I came across Linzi Shoes. I first saw the Roxina trainer at Linzi Shoes S/S Press Event. Placed delicately on the table, they just shouted at me 'You need us in your life' and I defiantly did. At £25 I can't see how you can say no! I cant stop staring at them and they have taken pride place at the front of my trainer collection.

Metallic Mad

Metallic has been popping up all over the shop and I'm not one to shy away from it and neither should you. I've kept it safe by wearing all black and then using the metallic as statement pieces. I've had my silver shoes for a while now but not had the chance the wear them, especially while its been so cold. They also marry up very nicely with my new Alexander McQueen handbag! I love every thing about this outfit. Its simple but fun.

Bomber Babe

I LOVE SALES!!! I enjoy sifting through the rails trying to find a bargain and that's exactly what I did in Zara with this light weight bomber jacket. From £69.99 to £15.99 I walked away laughing. This bomber is going to be perfect for a windy spring day and with spring not far away we need to starting thinking about our new wardrobe.

Basic Boys

I'm all for dress down Sundays but this doesn't always mean staying in your pyjamas all day. Sometimes just sometimes you have to adventure outside for a few hours and the last thing you want to be doing is getting all dress up in a well thought out outfit. You want something easy to put on but still look acceptable. Walking around in your onsie may seem like a good idea at the time but trust me that look needs to stay at home. On days like this bovver boots, jeans and a jumper do it just right for me.

This look is Army inspired and can be very popular with the guys. Adrian is very fond of this look. Girl don't be afraid to dress down like the guys do. Be confident with what your wearing.

In other news I've just invested in a new Nikon Camera so in a few blogs time my picture will be better quality, I'm just still learning how to use it.
