Persuading Suede

Autumn is coming!!! My favourite time of year, the season to layer up with boots and jackets. I'm desperate for the sun to go away and the clouds to come in just so I can pull out my winter wardrobe. I'm kicking it off with layers... layers of suede. Suede is going to be the new in material this season and it seems the High Street shops are with me on this one.

Seventies Suede

Jacket - H&M (similar)|Jeans - River Island| Boots New Look

I've really fallen in love with the Seventies Style this season. I think it can suit all body shape's and can give you curves in all the right places if worn correctly.
I've been a lover of skinny jeans for a few years now but when you are just shy of 5ft 2 with thick thighs, skinny's aren't the most forgiving. When the seventies style hit the catwalk this S/S I couldn't wait to get myself a pair flares. Flare have quickly become my best go to jean and really suit my shape. These River Island kick flares are perfect, they gradually get wider at the knee, creating the illusion of a slimmer leg.
If your going to embrace the seventies feel, its a all or nothing kind of look. So I couldn't wait to team my flares with this gorgeous suede jacket/shirt from H&M. It can be worn as a shirt, jacket, done up or undone, its so versatile and for £29.99 its worth ever penny. The tie around the waist is just in the right place to bring your waist in and create more curves.
This look is great for overcast and rainy days like today.
Have a great Easter holiday guys and keep being confident with fashion.

Bronzed Beautys with Linzi Shoes

Trainers have been the new daytime shoe for sometime now but buying from Nike, New Balance, Adidas etc can be expensive, so I was over the moon when I came across Linzi Shoes. I first saw the Roxina trainer at Linzi Shoes S/S Press Event. Placed delicately on the table, they just shouted at me 'You need us in your life' and I defiantly did. At £25 I can't see how you can say no! I cant stop staring at them and they have taken pride place at the front of my trainer collection.

Basic Boys

I'm all for dress down Sundays but this doesn't always mean staying in your pyjamas all day. Sometimes just sometimes you have to adventure outside for a few hours and the last thing you want to be doing is getting all dress up in a well thought out outfit. You want something easy to put on but still look acceptable. Walking around in your onsie may seem like a good idea at the time but trust me that look needs to stay at home. On days like this bovver boots, jeans and a jumper do it just right for me.

This look is Army inspired and can be very popular with the guys. Adrian is very fond of this look. Girl don't be afraid to dress down like the guys do. Be confident with what your wearing.

In other news I've just invested in a new Nikon Camera so in a few blogs time my picture will be better quality, I'm just still learning how to use it.

New Year New You

Week one of 2015 is up and that's one week into your new years resolutions. Have you kept at it, what ever it maybe? Keeping your car clean, not spending money on pointless nothingness, being happy and positive everyday, new diet or joining the gym, the list is endless.
Mine every year is the same. Staying focused on my health and fitness and be grateful for what I have.
If going to the gym is on your list then you need to be kitted out right. I love sports wear but can find it very expensive so I was over the moon when I found out Missguided and Boohoo had created their own lines for 2015. Stylish and affordable. Both lines have great textured patterns and are full of colour.

MISSGUIDED

The Missguided hasn't been released yet but sit tight. Its coming soon..

BOOHOO

The Boohoo line is out already and so much to choose from. I love the *Allyson oversized Jumper. The mesh and Jersey work well together and a great piece to warm up in. *The Dani Mesh Leggings are also another hit in my book not just for the design but also the high waist, extra comfort.

I would also check out H&M Sports wear. I have a lots from their collection. Its long lasting, comfortable and affordable. They have a great range for Runners with good material to keep you warm through the dark winter runs. The waist bands are also really handy for your iPod and locker keys when working out in the gym.
Keep it up with your news years resolutions what ever they may be. Remember we are all in it together trying to stay positive and fit.

Keep training and stay healthy.

Style Is What You Pick..

Christmas is over and we are sat snuggled up on the sofa, watching films and in food comas. What a wonderful Christmas its been spent with family and friends. My Christmas stocking was well and truly filled to the tops with goodies.
During the Christmas period I love dressing up and looking smart and this year was no exception. Christmas Eve was spent it with one half of my family 'The Painters'.

Keeping the outfit casual but smart I wore a white shirt with a slogan jumper from ASOS
I love this look. Its so simple but as its Christmas I needed to add a bit of sparkle so what better way? A huge diamante spider broche.

Christmas Day

Adrian and I woke up early and could easily of been more excited then any 5 year olds. Stockings from Santa were opened first and then our stocking to each other followed by the rest of our presents to each other. I must say Adrian really did out do himself this year. A few pieces are going to be worth blogging about. One stocking filler was a Selfie Stick (what I've always wanted) it came in handy through out the day.

Both Adrian and I share the same love of wearing thought out outfits, can't have one of us looking 100% fabulous and the other well.. 10%  If I get clothes for Christmas I try to wear it on Christmas day. Adrian had brought me a classic style shirt which was perfect to match up with my new neck tie from ASOS.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with all your wishes coming true.

Wrap Up Warm.

I Love Autumn!

Autumn is my favourite time of year. Nothing wakes me up quicker then breathing in the crisp, fresh air on a early Saturday morning. With the air being so sharp you have to wrap up warm and that's exactly what I did. I wrapped myself up in the biggest scarf I could find. A great purchase from H & M. Its cosy with a subtle Aztec print making it a perfect match for the crisp autumn Saturdays.

Matching this all with a Tassel handbag made me very happy. I seem to be buying every tassel bag I come across as the moment so you will be seeing a lot more tassel from me.
